I wrote this when we went to visit my granddad when he had cancer. She told out mum to warn us that he had a head that looked like a stone because of all the hair loss.
He was a very special man with so much creativity, love and energy for his woods and life. May he rest in peace. He never liked this song. I don't blame him, I wouldn't either if I was him. Love life while you can!!!!!
lyrics
My Sweet Monk Grandad
Ecologically wise,
I love to see your smile,
Never complains,
Just feels and gain.
You say you have a head like a stone,
You remind of Dalai Lama.
I love you dearly,
I love you sweetly
Don't be scared you will never be alone,
Please don't be scared.
Heavens shining up above
Heavens shining up above.
Strong like a warrior, harmless like a piece of moss
I love to see your smile
Inspiration, stimulation, and crazy imagination
Will always be running through my veins,
Pride explodes from my soul,
Knowing I am the third generation…
I'll always love, always recall you whenever you call me,
I'll always love you...
My sweet monk grandad,
My sweet monk grandad.
